“First master the basics, we’ll start building from there”
Sports and movement have been a key aspect to Dominique’s life from an early age. After high school he decided to deepen into his knowledge of the human body, by studying movement technology. Here he learned how the human body functions and what the technological applications are.
His first internship was at professional football club Feyenoord, in cooperation with the Erasmus MC. Here he did research on the predictability of cruciate ligament injury amongst professional football players. After this internship he did his thesis at Sparta Rotterdam. Here he created and analyzed individual data of football players during training and matches.
After he completed his bachelor in movement technology he decided to specialize in the improvement of human physical accomplishments. He participated in the master “Biophysics in Sports” at the VU Amsterdam. After his graduation he was offered a position as exercise physiologist for the youth of ADO Den Haag.
As a job to pay for his study he started as an instructor for bootcamp training at Fit Body Sport. After a while he also started instructing the company fitness for Nederlandse Loterij and TUI. After a while he also took on strength and conditioning training for several sports clubs.
Dominique is an incredibly versified trainer, coach and educator who guides his clients through physical and lifestyle improvements.
